2. Compliance Status

The website www.optical-center.fr is declared:

partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

This declaration of partial compliance is due to the existence of certain non-conformities described below.

The conclusions of the website audit are still being finalized. Our multi-year accessibility improvement plan is available upon request by email at accessibilite@optical-center.fr.

3. Evaluation Methodology

The evaluation of the site's accessibility was carried out on a representative sample of pages, including notably:

  • home page (https://optical-center.fr/)
  • product catalog pages (https://www.optical-center.fr/lunettes-de-soleil)
  • product detail page
  • shopping cart
  • checkout process
  • contact page (https://www.optical-center.fr/contact)

The verifications were performed using:

  • automated analysis tools (notably WAVE – WebAIM, Lighthouse)
  • manual tests, including keyboard navigation.

These evaluations have identified points of compliance and areas for improvement.

4. Identified Non-Accessible Content

Despite the efforts made, certain content or features may present accessibility limitations, including:

  • certain color contrasts not fully meeting the required ratios in specific cases;
  • certain interactive components developed previously (menus, modal windows) which may present keyboard navigation limitations;
  • certain older images whose alternative text may be improved;
  • certain form error messages that may not be optimally rendered by assistive technologies.

These non-conformities do not prevent global access to the services offered, but may affect the user experience for some individuals.

5. Continuous Improvement

Optical Center has initiated a process of continuous improvement for digital accessibility.
Corrective actions are planned and implemented progressively, based on technical priorities and site updates, including:

  • improvement of visual contrasts;
  • strengthening the accessibility of interactive components;
  • improving the semantic structure of pages;
  • optimizing the accessibility of forms.

6. Exemptions for Disproportionate Burden

Certain non-conformities may result from technical constraints related to existing components or legacy systems. Their full compliance requires structural work that is integrated into a roadmap for progressive evolution.

7. Third-Party Content and Services
